Unfortunately jack part no longer in service, but we fix anyways!
Gaming Laptop with dc jack that is not sourceable.
Results:
Jack cannot be sourced so we'll have to improvise. The same package has a pin configuration for throughhole, our jack has same config except its in blade form.
We take our dremmel and file down the pin package to just the metal contacts and solder wire to them creating new shielded contacts. We then run these throughhole and solder the anchor joints. Now we solder each individual wire checking for continuity after each one. Success! Trim the wires and off to the next repair!
